Our Mission

Our coalition strives to create a healthy Wolfe County using holistic assessment of drug prevention needs, and resources, and to plan the implementation and evaluation of drug prevention activities for your youth while being mindful of our cultural diversity and other major community issues.

Our coalition strives to create a safe, healthy Wolfe County for future generations. The Wolfe County UNITE/DFC Coalition Against Drugs was created in February 2004, by a small group of concerned citizens to combat the drug epidemic taking over our community. We must treat the ones who are addicted, reintroduce them into a sober society and educate our youth on ways to not go down those roads.

TREATMENT OPTIONS Since 2004, the coalition has gone on to help over 100 people enter rehab through the UNITE voucher program.

Raising awareness to the issues plaguing our neighborhoods—HOW??

Implemented several programs to help youth to make healthy choices and stay away from drugs and alcohol—What are they?

We have also established locations for safe disposal of leftover prescription drugs at the Sheriff’s Department and at United Kentucky Clinics of Kentucky. By using these locations, you can dispose of old medications in a safe way, ensuring that loved ones do not have an opportunity to experiment or abuse them improperly. Click here for a complete list of disposal locations.

We are here to be a resource to Wolfe County for any needs relating to drug prevention, addiction, and the healing needs of the addict and their loved ones.
